Never surrender!

I would surrender early rather than continue playing and win the game in a shameful manner ,yes, that's my opinion and I believe the phrase "never surrender" is said when you FEEL that your position is bad but not sure if it's losing or not. Not in a 100% CLEAR EASY losing position ,oh! wait , maybe unless you are child , then you can continue playing in a hope that ur opponent internet disconnect or maybe got heart attack and die
I will continue a game against someone who only reached the completely winning position due to my own errors, for two reasons.

1) If they aren't sure what to do after winning significant material, odds are they will miss the ability to capitalize on it and I may get a winning tactic out of it. Case and point, I just blundered a rook in a game, and 5 moves later I recovered the rook and then the opponent stepped into a smothered mate.

2) If everyone resigns against someone who is given a completely winning endgame, they never have to practice doing it and very well might botch it up. It's an opportunity to help them keep sharp, as well as the slim chance for stalemate if they mess up the sequence.

That being said, I always resign to someone who is clearly superior and reaches a position that I have no chance of winning, provided they have enough time on their clock to finish. I will race the clock if I have a significant time advantage, however.
I agree with u @static_shadow , but the last condition u mentioned was met in the game ,yes it happens that u got lucky and win even in that condition , but I believe it's just shameful and disrespectful for one to continue playing at the start
Shame? Not here bro

Chess is about expression of self. I will fight in every game till my last piece.
plz dont think this is courage ! it is shameful to u and disrespectful for ur opponent , yes, u will win 1 game in at least every 10 games ; u win a game and you lose 10 friends, it's a fucking game not a live or die matter
I think its disrespectful giving up a fight.

I get more positive feedback than negative for my style and attitude.

You can resign if you wish, that is your expression.
S, I agree that one should resign when it is clear that holding on would be pointless and therefore rude.

I think that the material difference condition static_shadow mentions is usually a good guideline (for example, against a highly rated player who is unlikely to blunder - static said "clearly superior"). However, as my game above shows, there are situations when holding on for a little longer is legitimate (not impolite), even though the position is vastly inferior.

But, yes, dragging on a game which clearly has no chance will make you no friends.
