someone Sign in a chess tournament, then he did not show up

the opponent have to wait still time out, in my tournament ,it is 30 mins, it is a big problem, what I can do?
Is it possible to claim a win if opponent did not show up in 10 mins in a 30mins games?
You can open a new tab and do else. You can even play two games at the same time.
Always thought the join feature for Arena tournaments was a bit suspect. Sometimes you wait ages and nothing happens.

If it is an otb chess tournament he shouldn't ask the opinion of random people of a random chess site. He should ask the organizers or the arbiters of said tournament.

That's true, but usually online if you don't "show up" you miss the points for the round or you are forfeited. Isn't that the case for @deepbluecanada 's tournament?
I'd be playing against myself, studying on the board provided. Then re set up the start before my opponent gets close.
