why am I having stockfish 11+ instead of stockfish 14+

I was using the lichess analysis board and I noticed that I am having stockfish 11, instead of stockfish 14. Can anyone tell me how to change it?

Open your analysis settings (the hamburger menu in the bottom left corner of the thing in your screenshot) and check if there's a button called "Enable NNUE". If so, that switches to SF 14. If not, that means your browser or device doesn't support the necessary prerequisite for SF 14 (or if you are using an older version of Firefox, you don't have the necessary flags enabled).

iOS devices and Safari on Macs don't have support at all. Newer versions of Chrome (and everything based on Chromium, like Microsoft Edge, Opera, Brave, etc.) as well as Firefox should support it as long as you have a moderately recent CPU (from around the last 10 years or so and maybe not the lowest end if it's on the older side).

Thanks, I got it when I changed to chrome, I think it doesn't work in edge.
It should work if you have the new Edge. It works for me.
Well, ofc I don't use Edge as my main browser. But since it's the default on Win10 and MS pushes it quite a lot, I'm sure it's used by quite a lot of people. A quick Google search says >8% which is probably at least a few hundred million people.

Tbh, after the switch to Chromium, it actually seems quite usable and it's great that you can now rely on (almost) every person using Windows having a browser that actually supports modern web standards (unlike Safari sometimes *cough cough*, and ofc IE way worse before that). And since it's also used for the Windows webview, it also means anything using that can rely on those features, instead of having to ship a copy of chrome every time for example. Though getting a bit off-topic now I guess ...

Internet Explorer died (or rather was made obsolete), Edge replaced it.
