Please can you have an option to disable board scrolling

Hi guys, so board scrolling where it goes back/forth in previous moves by scrolling the mouse wheel can be pretty annoying.

I'm in Chrome so I use the following extension which does the trick: chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/lichess-board-scroll-disa/bhoehlmcaidmlcbamnlfficpedgecddn?hl=en

However for those on different browsers, is there any way this can be disabled in the user preferences? I'm hoping it should be a fairly simple option to implement and I'm sure it would be a very desirable feature for a lot of players.

Thank you @Toadofsky. Just so I'm on the same page, when you say "this issue is recorded" do you mean this isn't intended behaviour and it's a bug that you'll be looking to patch? Or is it an option you're looking to release in a future update?

Good questions... usually when I link to an issue I convey an opinion, but here I'm trying to direct people with questions to GitHub because I have no idea.
