Another idea floated by GM Yasser Seirawan in the chessbrah Twitch stream. He said that, instead of playing 1 minute bullet games when he was young, he would play 10 games in 10 minutes. If someone ran out on time, they lost the entire match. This was fascinating to me and seemed like an excellent idea!
