I beat chess.

How does one beat chess, you ask?

By no longer playing it.

I now spend the time I would be using to play chess doing much more productive things.
I wish you all luck in beating chess. It might be hard at first, but it gets easier and the rewards are great!
Don't give up!
Do whatever works for you, man. If not playing chess is one of those things, that's great to hear.
It's easy to beat chess just play like stockfish lv8 on this site and you will crush all chess players in the world no one in the world could get a + score against a strong computer in the long run :D
I take it English is not your first language? Quitting chess is the correct way to say it man. GL?
I believe the original poster found a competitive game where he/she does better than at chess. There are tournaments in games such as Minecraft, Sudoku, League of Legends, CS-GO, Fallout, card games such as Poker and Bridge. There are also tournaments in many physical sports such as football, squash, tennis. People play the games where they perform the best. I play chess because, I get much better results compared to tournaments in other things.
@Tangelo777 LOL it happens.

#7 the best results i get are in poker but i absoutly hate the game i won 20 tournaments and got like 65 final tables last year and yet i still hate the game every time i get kicked out it's with the best hand pre-flop and i keep still comming back to it. The reason i play chess in person is because i like playing and meeting new people LOL ? :D
My profile says I've been allocating full mental capacity for about 21 days on lichess and some more on chess related videos on youtube, since ~2015. Say, its a total of 30 days per year... turn those into 8 hrs per day, we've got 90 work days attributed to chess in 365 days. Probably, it is best to put some self-restraint I guess... What else could have I done in 3 months ? hmm... opportunity costs... gets me wondering :S
