Board Resize is Poorly Made

It's annoying that there's no stickyness in the board resizing. I don't want to have to make my board bigger each game or each time I log in. Just today too I tried to log in and play and accidentally made the board too small trying to click on the rook. For the rest of the game I could resize the board and I lost because of it.

I don't understand why this was a feature that was added? How does it improve over the old board design?

Whether or not you can resize the board during a game is in the settings. You can also resize via geometry option. The feature was added so people can control the size of the board in the new responsive design. I think the lack of stickiness is a bug.
