how do lower rated players play so well?

how do lower rated players play so well
I have plenty of games that I am bluffed
by the series of precise moves that my opponent managed,
I feel like I have to play like a machine to beat them,
I dont mind doing so against 1800 rating or above
but I get infuriated, not today but sometimes
when I see such a rock solid chess at the bottom of the learning curve,
that is patzers.
two examples

Yes there are games with mistakes and We both play badly, etc
but my question is concerned more about the opening.
Does everybody study a ton of theory or what
cause the game feels so hard even at the bottom
I know how you feel.

I often lose to lower rated players when they play the french or caro-kann. Maybe the issue is having to play openings that you don't know very well.
as a lower rated player 1500 ish, i beat 17, 18, 1900s on occasion, and it's just a matter of playing at our very best. rising to the occasion will always be an advantage to a competitive player. and most of the time, as dionysus mentioned, the lower player is playing a game he knows well whereas the higher rated player may not be.

Well it doesn't hurt to know the basics of common openings like the french, sicilian or caro-kann. Just get a playable position after the opening and use your superior skill to defeat him in the middlegame..
A short look at your games reveals that you play them with no particular plan.

In the Sicilian, your opponent castled queenside and tried to get an attack on the kingside, which is a common idea in the opening, while you were playing waiting moves, so to speak. In the Dutch, it is Black who should be trying to get an attack, but here White completely stomped you instead (he didn't even castle!) despite all his mistakes.

Here is an advice: having a goal while playing chess is always good. The ultimate goal is checkmate, but that is usually beyond the horizon; so you plan stuff like taking control of a square or attacking your opponent's isolated pawn. When you have an objective, you will find that the moves come to you much more easily and naturally. You should try to formulate a plan. As the saying goes, "Bad plan is better than no plan."
One goal is easier to focus on, but if you can handle trying to open lines to your opponent's king while trading off your bad pieces for your opponent's ones, why not? Moves that serve two purposes at once are not rare at all.
Of course they are my bad games,
I am not talking about my lack of play
I take that for granted, It has been displayed
I was talking about my opponent play,
besides in neither of those games I play badly
or did a mayor blunder in the first 15 moves
Im testing ideas or positions, but really this is not a thread about talking about my play, although you can if you want,
Its just a complain
but still I did not get any advantage and even I got uncomfortable positions, which would not have surprised me if as I said was playing an advanced player
but it really surprises me how well they play
Let me put you another example
A famous game I came across after playing that dutch game yesterday, of alekhine
http://www.chessgames.com/perl/chessgame?gid=1012099
Actually I imported it yesterday

the level of chess has risen a lot imo, is all I am saying.
