I have the time out problem as well. Lost 3-4 games as a consequence. Is this a bug ??? Anyone could give me a hint please

Yes, it is a regular feature of the game...the server's capacity is insufficient for the number of games being played I suspect. Happens when there are greater than 500 players. ALSO...it won't allow me to setup my play as RATED...don't even see a box to check for it on my game into screen.
