private import

Hi,

I myself like to analyse my OTB games on lichess and also keep them there as in a cloud, i have chessbase cloud, but i don't like it as much as lichess as here i can do a full analyse too and i like the interface better.

Only problem is, all imported games are public, i prefer to have them private, but there is no option for that. Could this ever be implented in the future?

You can import them as private study chapters.

Yes you can, click on the bar chart icon immediately under the board, and you will see a "Request a computer analysis" button.
Make sure you only click that on games that you really want to analyze, as it is quite computationally costly for lichess, also make sure you only click that when the entire game has been entered and is the main line of your study.

Still, I like PhilIveys proposition. I do exactly the same thing like him with my OTB games, and I'd appreciate a button "private import" or "public import". It would be one more bit (literally) of information for each game ...
