Anyone for a game?

Download WinBoard or set a board at home, then we play by messaging moves/screenshots back and forth.

I recently find out that there is "S-Chess"... and yes I would really like to see the variant added to lichess...

Is S chess what happens when you play one board game a little too long---like 40 yrs too long?

No wonder Yasser, and other GM's, play other variants.

In my chess club (even as a kid) we played for example: Bughouse chess, Cylinder chess, Atomic chess... (the others I don't know the english name - Gespensterschach)
It was much fun and excellent to recover from a hard/long classical game of chess.

But there is much more... for example a way to get deeper into knowledge could be to use variations of the "known" to find a new perspective and get new ideas... like it is done for example in asian philosophy...
sometimes detouring is important to get forward...
we need more elephants !!

Gespensterschach sounds somewhat like Dark Chess.

Sad that S-Chess is still not playable on Lichess.

We just finished adding S-Chess yesterday on hellochess.com/ . I think the interface for placing elephant/hawk is a little better than the site that opper showed in the video, but we're open to feedback.
